1. Summer School Courses 2010 to Netherlands
Apply now for a Summerschool Scholarship and spend your summer studying in the Netherlands!
The Indonesian Young Leaders programme is a continuation of the intensive cooperation between the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Leiden University, which started in 1985 with INIS, Indonesian-Netherlands Cooperation in Islamic Studies. The Indonesian Young Leaders Programme is similar to the INIS programme as it also offers training and research in Leiden and at other Dutch Universities.
The scholarship will include:
  • a return ticket Jakarta - Amsterdam
  • a monthly allowance
  • costs for accommodation during the summerschool course
  • a third-party liability and medical insurance
You can apply for a scholarship for a period upto 6 months! For example, you can first take a Summerschool Course and continue your stay with doing library research on a topic of your interest.

2. The 2011 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD)
The Global UGRAD Program provides scholarships for one semester or one academic year of U.S. Study in a NON-DEGREE Program. The goals of the program are to provide a diverse group of emerging student leaders, from non-elite and underrepresented groups in Indonesia and East Asia. 
All global UGRAD Program participants will be enrolled full-time in undergraduate course work chosen from the institution’s (US) existing curriculum to allow students ample opportunity for ongoing interaction with U.S. Faculty and student peers, and for exposure to U.S. academic and classroom culture.
 
Eligibility:
  1. Currently enrolled in S1 degree.
  2. Should demonstrate leadership potential  through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.
  3. Must have minimun ITP/IBT TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS 5.0.
  4. Preference will be given to those who have had little or NO experience in the U.S. or outside of their home countries.
  5. Applications can be for either for one semester or two semesters based on nominee’s availability.
  6. Applicants are required to return to Indonesia after the completion of the one or two semester program.

3. Undergraduate Exchange Program in Tohoku (Social Science); for UGM students
The International Program in Liberal Arts (IPLA) will give overseas students the opportunity to study Japan through a strong Liberal Arts curriculum taught in English. The program also offers Japanese language and culture classes in order to provide students with an understanding of the Japanese language and customs.Intellectual exchange with Japanese students is an important part of the program and is achieved through group activities and interaction with local Japanese students both in classes and as extracurricular activities.

Eligibility:
  1. Enrolled as a student of Universitas Gadjah Mada
  2. 2nd or 3rd year student at Faculty of Social and Political Sciences or Faculty of Economics and Business

4. The Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation
Anyone who supports the objectives of the foundation to build his/her own country and to promote international friendship, is outstanding in personality and ability, in sound health and is deemed to be in need of financial assistance for educational expenses, and who meets the following qualifications:

  1. Be a citizen of Indonesia
  2. Be a resident of Indonesia on April 1, 2010
  3. Be born after April 2, 1986
  4. Academic Qualifications: Must have graduated from a university designated by our foundation prior to March 31, 2011 and be able to obtain a letter of recommendation from his/her supervising professor. The applicants also required to have completed a total of 16 years of education at recognized educational facilities.
